Love was overflowing at this beautiful Connecticut wedding. Guests were in tears the moment the beautiful bride stepped down the aisle. The couple took inspiration from the seaside town of Mystic where the wedding took place. Instead of a literal nautical interpretation of the theme, the couple opted for a muted storm-at-sea look, which paired seamlessly with their venue.
The ceremony took place on the rolling hills of the lovely Inn at Mystic, overlooking a river while cranes flew overhead. A beautiful archway acted as the backdrop to an emotional and joyful vow exchange. Sea glass, sailors knots, and driftwood decorated the tables, along with big pots of phalaenopsis orchids, thistles, and air plants. Starfish held escort cards to lead guests to their tables, and guests could sign an oar that now hangs in the couple's home.
