This couple has spent their 25 years together traveling around the world, and one of their favorite places they have traveled to is Hawaii. Heather discovered a few years back that she is related by marriage to the last queen of Hawaii, Queen Lili'uokalani. They celebrated with their Ohana at this special Hawaiian-themed vow renewal anniversary party.
During the cocktail reception, guests swayed to live ukulele music while grazing on bountiful platters of cheese, fruit and tuna poke. The reception featured a full luau feast including mahi mahi, pulled pork, grilled pineapple, sticky rice, and grilled veggies.
During a sweet vow renewal, the couple recited the same vows they did 35 years ago and instead of rings, they exchanged orchid leis flown in from Hawaii. At the end of the day, the couple gave a moving toast to their Ohana using the same champagne glasses they used at their wedding, and everyone indulged on the beautiful cake, stuffed with stone fruit compote.
