The Health and Wealth Leadership Forum brought together top broker dealers, senior leadership at asset management firms, financial advisers and innovative financial solutions providers for a collaborative series of panels centered around the enormous challenges rising from the nation’s aging population.

 

The event took place on Thursday, May 3rd at the Sheraton Boston hotel and featured four financial services industry panels before guests were invited to a reception in the grand ballroom for networking, food and an awards ceremony.

 

Keynote speaker Charlie Baker, a former Big Brother, addressed the audience about the importance of mentorship to kick off the auction and fundraising solicitation.

During the auctions, guests could bid on priceless sports memorabilia, game tickets, luxury items, and exotic trips. Top auction items included a custom bespoke suit by famed Newbury Street tailor Allen Rouleau, a private villa escape to Belize complete with a private chef, and business class airfare on Emirates from Boston to Dubai to South Africa!

At the reception, Big Brothers Big Sisters honored fallen police officer Sean Gannon for his extraordinary service as a Big Brother with the "Big of the Year" award, which was accepted by his parents and his little brother.
