Lush | Cozy | Garden Party

For this couple, planning their wedding from NYC was no small feat. They knew they needed an extra set of hands to ensure their Elm Bank wedding would be planned and designed without a hitch - that’s where we came in! 

Taking inspiration from the transitional fall garden backdrop of Elm Bank - mauve, blush, and verdant green - we wove a natural design together that brought the outside into the Hunnewell Building. Guests were offered glasses of champagne and got cozy under plush pashmina wraps as the ceremony unfolded at dusk in the garden under a lush chuppah. From the ceremony, guests walked an illuminated path towards the carriage house where we welcomed them with warm hors d'oeuvres, autumnal cocktails, and plush soft seating. Flickering candlelight and glowing lamplight made the space feel intimate and cozy - like being at home. 

Ally & Joe knew their guests would want to dive right into the party, so they forwent the formalities, stuffiness, and seated dining to embrace an extended cocktail hour format. This allowed their guests maximum time on the dance floor, and offered the unique opportunity to indulge in all their favorite bite sized and small plate foods. After mixing, mingling, and indulging in the savory food stations, Ally & Joe welcomed their guests outside to the greenhouse where they cut their cake in the moonlight. The reception culminated in a lively dance party that had everyone on their feet - especially during the Hora! Good thing we had a late night sundae bar in store for everyone to grab a sweet treat when they needed a break from the dancefloor.
