Sarah and Chris wanted their wedding to feel like an elevated extension of the places and traditions they already loved, from their favorite local date spot to hikes through the woods with their pup. We translated that personal history into a romantic New England wedding at The Barn at Gibbet Hill, pairing a transitional fall palette of peach and terracotta with rustic-chic details, abundant florals, and an effortlessly luxe tablescape. A farm-to-table dinner unfolded beneath the historic barn beams, surrounded by fruit, flowers, candlelight, and the crisp autumn landscape. The result was a deeply personal celebration that shows how luxury wedding planning and creative wedding design can feel polished without ever losing the personality of the couple.
A Deeply Personal Fall Wedding in the Castle Ruins at Gibbet Hill
For Eileen and Jonathan, a traditional wedding was never going to cut it. Inspired by their shared love of the macabre, we transformed Hammond Castle into an atmospheric vampire fantasy—layering black-on-black tablescapes, skulls and bones, dramatic florals, and richly textured details to create the feeling of an ancient castle inhabited by its mysterious owners. Guests encountered tarot readings in the library, a fire dancer leading the processional, and even a hearse serving beer, while a black Lambeth cake and axe-cutting moment provided the perfect dose of theatricality. This offbeat luxury wedding is a prime example of our approach to immersive wedding design: build the world first, then invite your guests inside.
Step into this Immersive, Gothic Vampire Ball at Hammond Castle
Ariel and Ryan came to us with a feeling - not a fully formed design - and that was more than enough to get started. Together, we translated their vision for a whimsical coastal wedding into a fresh, highly personalized aesthetic, pushing the color palette, refining the meaning of “coastal,” and layering in playful details without letting the design drift into cliché. From an escort card display inspired by a raw bar to embroidered napkins, shell-shaped tableware, sardine salt and pepper shakers, and a tribute cake display honoring their grandparents, every element had a story behind it. The result was a distinctly personal Boston wedding design that proves luxury can be playful, unexpected, and deeply rooted in the people getting married.
