Working with Ariel & Ryan was an absolute dream! They came to me for help honing in on their vision of a whimsical coastal wedding. They had an idea of what they wanted but couldn’t put words to it, so searching for inspo photos was becoming tedious, and they were getting frustrated with the design process because they couldn’t verbalize what was in their minds.

That’s where we came in to shake things up a bit and draw out of them the fresh, funky vibe they had been seeking all along. We pushed their color palette to the next level, honed in on exactly what coastal meant to them, and identified key materials and imagery that would anchor the vision so it didn’t go too off the rails. The result was whimsical with just the right level of restraint. From the style guide, to the little sea critters, to the extremely thoughtful linen combination, we collaborated closely with a team of incredible partners to bring this vision to life. Every aesthetic decision was made intentionally, centered around the guest experience, and highly personalized.

Some of our favorite design moments included the STUNNING and incredible impactful tribute cake display - featuring the favorite cakes from each of their grandparents who have passed away, lovingly embraced by a field of flowers. The absolutely entertaining escort card display mimicked a raw bar, where guests picked shrimps, oysters, caviar, etc from the trays of ice to find their seats. Embroidered napkins elevated cocktail service AND can be used by the couple in their homes for years to come. Take a peek at the tabletop details - while we didn’t have a ton of space on the tables we jam packed as many personalized details as possible from the shell butter dishes, to the sardine shaped salt & pepper shakers, to the leather napkin rings emblazoned with their initials, to the round menu that took the place of a charger.
