ALX100 - Honoring Latin excellence

The spirit of resilience, pride, and celebration was alive & vibrant at the inaugural ALX100 Gala, held at the iconic Boston Public Library. This unforgettable evening honored the ALX100 — 100 remarkable Latinx trailblazers from across Massachusetts whose leadership, innovation, and impact are shaping the future of our communities. In addition to honoring the ALX100, we carefully curated a vendor team of local latinx vendors to authentically and intentionally shape the night.

The evening began with a moving awards presentation, featuring inspiring remarks from Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, both of whom underscored the extraordinary contributions of the honorees and the critical importance of uplifting Latinx voices across all sectors.

Following the ceremony, the energy shifted into full celebration mode as guests formed a lively conga line, winding joyfully through the historic halls of the library and leading into a dazzling reception space. Bold flower motifs, bright colorful lounge areas, and lush tropical floral installations transformed the room into a vibrant oasis, setting the perfect scene for a night of joy and community. Throughout the night, guests could make a donation to try to win the grand prize - a gorgeous Louis Vuitton bag was thoughtfully hand-painted by local artist Silvia López Chavez.

Dinner was a delicious journey through Latin America, with curated food stations featuring the diverse flavors of the Caribbean, Mexico, and South America. Specialty cocktails infused with Latin flair flowed throughout the evening, delighting guests with tropical tastes and festive spirit. As the night continued, the dance floor came alive with the rhythms of salsa & merengue, as guests celebrated not only the honorees, but the shared strength, culture, and resilience of the Latinx community.
