As an event planner, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing countless stunning weddings, each with its unique charm. When it came time to plan my own, the possibilities were endless, and narrowing down the vision was no small feat. But one thing was clear: our wedding would be deeply personal, filled with details that reflected our story and passions. Here’s how we made our day uniquely ours:
Something Borrowed, Something Brewed
My husband Gerald’s love for craft beer inspired us to homebrew a pale ale for the occasion. We even gave it a special name, blending tradition with creativity.

Raise a toast
My love of hospitality was celebrated with etched wine glass favors at each guest’s place setting, creating a lasting memory of the day.

Generations Woven Together
My mother transformed lace from her wedding dress into a garter, adorned with an opal charm my Abuelo gifted me as a child. Stamps from my late Papa’s vintage collection added a sentimental touch to our invitations, giving them a meaningful and memorable purpose. Our reception centerpieces featured mismatched vintage milk glass—a nostalgic nod to my parents’ wedding decor.
Handcrafted Wedding Bands
We collaborated with a jewelry artist at Stonybrook Fine Arts to design and handmake our wedding bands, adding a truly one-of-a-kind element.
Custom Music with a Twist
A composition student from Berklee created our processional and recessional music, blending Vivaldi-inspired elegance with heavy metal flair for a sound that was entirely us.
True proof that we practice what we preach - Our wedding was a reflection of who we are and the people and memories that have shaped us. Looking to create a wedding as personal and unforgettable as ours? Let’s make it happen together!
