Playful | Staturated | Whimsical
An immersive celebration built brick by brick, this LEGO-inspired shoot transformed the soaring interiors of the Boston Children’s Museum into a refined playground of color, texture, and architectural whimsy. Leaning into the venue’s industrial framework, colorful window treatments, and larger-than-life climbing installation, the design embraced contrast at every turn; polished yet playful, elevated yet deeply tactile.
Rich saffron, persimmon, and chartreuse linens layered the tables in bold geometric color blocking, echoing the vibrant visual language of LEGO while feeling unmistakably sophisticated. Sculptural florals exploded from the centerpieces in sculptural arrangements of saturated blooms, softening the steel chairs and warm wood floors with organic movement and depth. Nestled within the fresh florals we strategically incorporated LEGO Botanical stems to enliven the tablescape. Every detail was intentionally layered: tinted glassware catching the afternoon light, tonal textiles adding dimension, and contemporary tabletop pieces creating a curated sense of abundance.
Set beneath the museum’s dramatic suspended climbing structure, the event felt like stepping inside a modern art piece — one where childhood imagination met luxury entertaining. The result was a dynamic, design-forward experience that celebrated creativity through elevated materials, immersive storytelling, and a fearless use of color and form.
