Hosted in the newly unveiled Emerald Salon at Raffles Boston, this intimate happy hour brought together Boston event planners for an evening of connection, discovery, and layered experiential design. As the very first production to take place in the space, the event introduced guests to the salon through a richly atmospheric environment inspired by another iconic Raffles destination: The Blind Duck.
The design direction balanced brightness with moodiness, weaving together speakeasy-inspired details including draped table linens, veiled lamps, lush floral installations, and inviting furniture vignettes that encouraged conversation and lingering. Specialty cocktails adorned with pomegranate pearl “caviar” added a playful sense of luxury, while a live engraving activation allowed guests to personalize their own caviar spoons as bespoke keepsakes from the evening.
Designed to spark authentic networking, each guest received a custom key engraved with their name alongside a clue that corresponded to another attendee. Throughout the afternoon, guests mingled through the space searching for their matching counterpart, transforming introductions into an interactive social experience.
As the happy hour came to a close, the celebration continued with a group walk to the Mandarin Oriental Boston for the evening’s PartySlate Boston Event festivities — extending the energy of connection, collaboration, and celebration late into the night.
