Multicultural | Tropical | Disco
How lucky were we to be part of this fabulous multicultural (Afghan & Jewish) Miami Vice inspired wedding under the tropical canopy of Roger Williams Botanical Garden?! The couple leaned into their cultural traditions while also staying insanely true to themselves, making decisions for guest experience, design, and timeline that were uniquely personal.
From giant flowers hidden in the greenery, a lawn flamingo scavenger hunt, a hamburger phone audio guest book, and his/hers henna, this couple really knew how to have fun! We threw the traditional wedding format out the window almost the second I started working with them - leaning into an extended cocktail hour with Kebah and Taco food stations, glistening cafe tables, and tons of soft seating.
The dance party kicked off with a bang - literally - as guests were summoned to the dance floor with dhol drums that punctuated the DJ's eclectic playlist all night long.
