We worked alongside Isabella’s loving parents for months, concepting, planning & designing her epic first birthday party at their waterfront home. Isabella is lovingly called “dragon princess” so we leaned into her nickname to give her a magical dragon themed birthday party. 

Every detail was carefully considered - such as the dragon lair we imagined and JBarry constructed to help Isabella get away from the crowds and have her own little sanctuary. We knew exactly who to call to bake an epic dragon egg cake, cupcakes and cookies - Cake Monstah crushed it with an equally delicious & gorgeous design. The favors were also carefully selected, a Palm Pal dragon for the little ones, and a 3D printed dragon in an egg for the older kids - although both options ended up being popular for all the kids and they quickly wiped out the “nest” of dragons to adopt. 

As for food - the family was particular but not fussy, opting for their favorite local restaurant to provide a delicious Mexican buffet, and EDEX Provisions who curated a gorgeous grazing table. One thing that set this spread apart was the close attention to dietary restrictions. With multiple allergies in the family we made sure there were plenty of gluten free, dairy free, and egg free options for everyone to enjoy. This included the smash cake for the birthday girl of honor which was lovingly made by Violette Bakers. 

Of course, we had to have fun with this theme, which meant going wild with jumbo 3D printed dragon eggs in nests as centerpieces, giant flowers, glowing lanterns, textural linens, about 20 pounds of moss, and a magical portal that welcomed guests through a ribbon curtain and into the event. To keep the kids of all ages entertained, we had a magician stroll through the crowd performing ambient closeup magic that culminated in a show that had everyone laughing & applauding.
