Meet Catalina, the creative mastermind behind Champagne & Confetti: Celebrations by Catalina. Equal parts event guru, design enthusiast, and storytelling queen, she’s all about turning life’s big moments into bold, unforgettable celebrations.

Catalina’s love affair with design started with a dual BA in Marketing and Art History and an MS in Communications Management from Simmons University in Boston. After 15+ years of crafting events for nonprofits, museums, and universities in Greater Boston, she decided to shake things up. In 2023, she went all in, leaving her 9-to-5 life behind to make magic full-time.

Known for her fearless use of color, texture, and unexpected details, Catalina’s events are anything but ordinary. Whether it’s a gothic castle wedding dripping in drama or a holiday party with a maximalist twist, her designs are vibrant, daring, and uniquely YOU. With roots in New England (and branches of her family tree in Spain & Puerto Rico) and a heart full of wanderlust, she draws inspiration from her globe-trotting adventures.

When she’s not orchestrating jaw-dropping celebrations, Catalina’s life is just as colorful. She’s a proud mom to her daughter Isabella and two lovable rescue pups (a Siberian Husky and a Pit Bull). You’ll often find her exploring botanical gardens, discovering hidden speakeasies, or showcasing her miniature art at local shows.
